Polymath Ben Keynes is a musician, artist/illustrator and DJ. You can see his work in Crown Ruler’s commissioned posters and artist portraits, and gracing other posters around town. He has become one of Melbourne’s most in-demand illustrators, after the posters for his own party night Baker Street saw his name passed around by word of mouth. Inspired by the canon of comic and poster art, from R Crumb to Heavy Metal magazine Ben is the one to get for detailed, hectic and brilliantly on point poster art.

Originally from a sheep station as old as the word ‘australia’ out in the Barossa Valley SA, empty landscapes and big skies inform Ben‘s thoughtful and beautiful dub techno productions and dj sets. His sets are deep, dark and personal. Ben looks for the place where gritty and beautiful sounds overlap and makes friends with all types of music that he finds there.
